Aahhh...you
have now entered the artbeat of my heart...I mean the heartbeat of my
art. After years of drawing and painting, I found myself looking through
my sketchbooks the way many people would look at their family photo albums.
My sketchbook is the informal, candid side of my art. I remember being
asked to erase the scribbles in a sketch I did for a child once. That
request sparked the realization of how much I loved the "scribbles" in
my drawings. They are like the haphazard threads on the backside of a
tapestry. In addition to the samples on the left, please check back occasionally
for a look at my "Scatch 'O the Day".
